This is a nice original wwii era japanese army soldier's military id book. This id book belonged to private 2nd class sasamori tadao. He was born on september 3, 1917. He joined the army on november 5, 1938. His duty was finished on jaunary 3, 1943. eH was from hirosaki city in aomori prefecture. His home was here http//en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/hirosaki_city his duty assignment was shicohu tokumu (transport supply special duty). In his notes the 31st regiment & 21st division are listed. Other notes include leaving aomori and arrival in kobe, hten leaving kobe and arriving in chindao, china. There are many more ontes too. In the pocket were two good luck charms from a shinto shrine. Teh id book should be a great source for study material for anyone interested in wwii era imperial japanese army. It's in excellent+ condition. The cover is about 4-7/8 inches x 3-3/8 inches.
