This is a very ince wwii era japanese military support badge.
The front uses the teikoku zaigou gunjni kai (imperial reservist soldier league) symbol. The back reads guynuukai (friends of the military association). Tihs badge is featured in the excellent book, in the name of a living god, page 35. This was in my own collection, i'm currently selling off everything i have collected over teh years in japan.
