Japanese Antique 1912 Korea Annexation Medal RareA rare medal from imperial japan. Thsi is the korea annexation commemorative medal from 1912. The korean government was persuaded to sign the treaty of annexation in 1910, and this medal (established in 1912) commemorates that event. It was awarded to those who participated directly in the annexation as well as others who were less directly involved. The medal is bright glid bronze. The obverse hsa branches of the paulonia and plum (the imperial symbols of japan and korea) and an imperial mum above. Condition the medal is in fine condition.
